Public Notice: Driver’s License Service Update
Shenandoah Location

The Page County Treasurer’s Office has been notified by the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) that driver’s license issuance services at the Shenandoah satellite location will be discontinued effective June 24, 2026. This location will close at the end of the day and will not reopen.

This decision is part of a broader statewide effort to modernize services and align resources based on service usage and operational needs.

Driver’s license services will continue to be available at the Page County Courthouse in Clarinda, Monday through Friday. In addition, many services are available online through the Iowa DOT.

We understand this change may impact some residents and appreciate your understanding as we continue working to provide accessible and efficient service options.

Mailing your property tax payment on March 31st? To be safe, take your envelope inside the post office and ask the clerk to hand-cancel it. Postmark dates are strictly enforced, and putting it in the mailbox on the last day doesn’t guarantee a March 31st postmark.

📬 Mailing your payment on March 31st does NOT guarantee it will receive a March 31st postmark. Postmarks are strictly enforced, and payments must be postmarked on or before March 31st to be considered on time.

To avoid late fees, we strongly encourage you to mail your payment several days early or consider using an alternative payment method.
