This past week, members of the Clarence Fire Department took part in a “Man vs. Machine” drill 💪🔥

The hands-on training gave our firefighters the chance to work with a wide variety of hand tools and learn when and how to use each one. Drills like this help keep our members sharp, safe, and ready to serve when it matters most.

Clarence Fire Department joins our brothers and sisters across Western New York in mourning the loss of Buffalo Fire Department Captain Scott Janowski.

Captain Janowski dedicated his life to the fire service, serving many years with Doyle Hose Company No. 2 in Cheektowaga and continuing through the ranks of the Buffalo Fire Department with decades of commitment, leadership, and courage.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the members of the Buffalo Fire Department and Doyle Hose Company No. 2. His passing leaves a tremendous void in the firefighting community, but his legacy and dedication will long be remembered.

The Clarence Fire District No. 1 is honored to announce that it has received a generous grant from the East Hill Foundation to support the purchase of a Lucas 3 Chest Compression Device.

This advanced device will significantly enhance our emergency medical service capabilities by providing consistent, high-quality chest compressions during cardiac arrest incidents. The Lucas 3 allows our responders to deliver uninterrupted, guideline-compliant CPR in challenging environments and during patient transport, improving both efficiency and patient outcomes.

The implementation of this device strengthens our ability to respond to life-threatening emergencies and underscores our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to the residents and visitors of the Town of Clarence.

The Clarence Fire District No. 1 extends its sincere appreciation to the East Hill Foundation for their continued support of community-based initiatives. Their generosity directly contributes to our mission of preserving life, protecting property, and serving our community with professionalism and compassion.
