Hello all. I did see that workers were on 7th Ave today so this could have been them. But with that in mind I understand that we are all patiently waiting for the street to open up. Please be respectful and try not to use the road especially when they are there working on it. From my knowledge they just have some finishing touches to get done and will be opening up shortly.

Hope everyone is having a great 4th of July. I just wanted to inform the community about Ball Street being closed between 3rd and 4th Ave. They were cleared to do so by the city council to put on the firework show. If there is any questions or concerns please reach out.

Hello all. I understand there are some concerns about a U-Haul that has been floating around town. I have made contact with the individual on multiple occasions. Without giving out too much information I am hoping this situation will be resolved soon. If there are any concerns don't be afraid to reach to myself or contact cedar county.

I spoke with the individual that was described in the last post. They both are liscened to be in town promoting sales for solar (Spartan).

With that being said, if there is anyone claiming to be with Alliant Energy we now know that they are not supposed to be in town today. Reach out to myself or Cedar county if people are making those claims.

At approximately 3:40pm today, 05/19/2025 I received a call that a male wearing a black vest and a female wearing a white sweatshirt with leg tattoos. They are going around to houses and told an individual that they were with Alliant energy. Alliant energy confirmed that they were not with the company.
