The signal at Harris Hill and Greiner is on flash all the way around. Most likely due to the weather and power loss/surges. Signal repair has been notified.

Please treat the signal as a four way stop until it is repaired.

TODAY: Repaving of Greiner Road from Anfield Road/ Via Del Sole to Salt Road will result in a single-lane road restriction beginning Monday, June 8, through Aug. 31, or until complete. Work will be performed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., daily.- 4:00 p.m. This is a county project. Any questions should be directed to Erie County DPW: 716-858-8300.

Road work alert:

The Town of Clarence Highway Department will begin milling and paving operations tomorrow (5/20 & 5/21) in the upper Hollow area. East, West Aves, South Park, Academy and Bodine. Please watch for flaggers and increased truck traffic. Milling and cleanup with paving after the long Memorial Day weekend.

Heads up …

Low temperatures will drop into the low to mid 30s tonight, and even upper 20s for the Southern Tier valleys and Tug Hill region. This will produce widespread frost and areas of freeze conditions that may damage cold sensitive vegetation.

The Highway Department’s first major job of the year on Clarnew Dr. off Newhouse:m Crews have done everything but the concrete curbs. New outfall pipe to Gott Creek, under-drains and connections to homes, and removal of the old road down to the clay. Paving is next.

Mulch Alert: Mulch is now available at no cost to our residents. The pile is located at the Clarence Highway Deptartment at 6223 Goodrich Road. Hand load only please. We will do our best to keep the bin full as it gets scooped up.
