Did you know? Some law enforcement agencies use drones to assist with search operations, disaster assessments, crash documentation, and managing large-scale incidents.

Drones are rapidly becoming one of the most valuable tools available to public safety agencies. By providing a real-time aerial perspective, they can help officers assess scenes before arrival, locate missing persons more quickly, identify hazards, and improve situational awareness during critical incidents.

As drone programs continue to evolve, they have the potential to transform how departments respond to emergency calls. Having accurate information before officers arrive can support faster decision-making, more effective deployment of resources, and enhanced safety for both responders and the public.

We are fortunate to have access to this technology and the instructors who help train personnel in its safe and effective use. It is exciting to witness this new era of policing and the opportunities it creates to better serve our communities through innovation, preparedness, and professional development.

Did you know? Many police officers knew they wanted to serve their community when they were teenagers! The Junior Citizens Police Academy gives youth a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement, teamwork, leadership, and the skills officers use every day.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a police officer, now’s your chance to find out!

💙 Join the Junior Citizens Police Academy and experience the fun, learning, and hands-on activities for yourself. Applications are available at the Claremore Police Department and the Claremore Community Center.
