Layla Freeman is a wife, mother, friend, and encourager to all. She is a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ. dest daughter Ashley to the devastating perils of addiction. Ashley was only 23 years old. There is no greater pain than child loss. This very difficult journey gave Layla the desire to help those who are facing difficult times and to help people see the hope. Layla is the Original Founder and Former CEO of the Non-Profit outreach ministry “Light of Hope”, founded in honor/memory of her daughter Ashley, to help bring hope to other’s. In January of 2024, Layla resigned from Light of Hope and is no longer affiliated with the organization. Layla's focus now is Public Speaking, Mentoring, and Writing. She enjoys the opportunity to speak and present to groups, schools, churches, organizations, conferences, etc. She has a passion to bring God's love, hope, awareness, and education, to our society. Layla is also an Author. Her first book publication, HOPE IN THE STRUGGLE, offers hope in the midst of dark times. Layla’s personal experience in the extreme difficulties of life gives her a deep understanding of brokenness. She is currently working on additional book publications. She is also a full time Business Owner/Vice President of Asset Industrial, Inc. She is also Owner/Managing Operator of RLF Investments, LLC. She is also a respected Executive Committee Board Member, serving on the State Northeast Oklahoma Workforce Development Board.
Layla was awarded the Non-Profit “Leading Lady” award of Rogers County in 2018. She was also voted #1 community volunteer “Best of Claremore” 2019 & 2020. On June 9, 2020, Layla Freeman was Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who’s Who Biographical National Registry, as well as recognized as a Tulsa, OK "Amazing Oklahoman" on October 2020. Additionally, she has received Congressional, DEA, and Rotary Star awards for the work she has done in the community.
