The City of Claremont Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to providing quality recreation facilities, programs, and services to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Claremont and the surrounding region. Comments Policy
The City of Claremont has established social media sites primarily in order to inform residents about City programs and events, to encourage d
ialogue between residents about these programs and events, and to exchange information and knowledge between residents and City employees about these programs and events. The City’s social media sites are not intended to be traditional public forums for the general exchange of ideas and viewpoints, but rather a limited public forum for discussion of specific programs and events. The Claremont Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to delete comments that:
• are off-topic or out of context
• contain vulgar language, obscenity, or material that appeals to the prurient interest
• contain personal identifying information or sensitive personal information
• contain offensive terms that target protected classes
• infringe on copyrights or trademarks
• are threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
• incite or promote violence or illegal activities
• contain information that reasonably could compromise individual or public safety
• promote or endorse political campaigns or candidates
