When we first met Chris, he had transitioned from treatment into recovery and was rebuilding his life through employment. After securing part-time work, Chris advanced to a full-time position at a local restaurant through TLC Recovery Programs' Sustainable Employment Program. His dedication and hard work eventually earned him the opportunity to attend management training at the company's corporate headquarters.

Today, we're excited to share the next chapter of Chris's journey.

One of Chris's biggest goals was obtaining his driver's license and purchasing a vehicle. To achieve this, he first had to face his past, resolve legal issues from his substance use, pay outstanding fines, and successfully pass both the written and road tests.

From November through May, Chris relied on public transportation while continuing to work, save money, and pursue his goals. With guidance from his recovery coach and a commitment to financial responsibility, Chris developed a plan to purchase a reliable vehicle without taking on a monthly car payment.

Through hard work, accountability, and resilience, Chris achieved both goals. Today, he is a licensed driver, a vehicle owner, and continues to build a life in recovery that once seemed impossible.

In Chris's own words:
"When it comes to life, work, and sobriety, OMG, life is great right now."

Chris's story is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible and that, with support, determination, and perseverance, people can overcome barriers and create lives filled with purpose, stability, and hope.

✉️ TODAY!

Join The Rainbow Roundtable for an afternoon together to create something special. Pride Postcards that are designed to be passed from person to person, spreading love and support everywhere it goes! This isn't just a craft; it's a chain of support and solidarity within our community.

Come help us build a tangible way to share positivity and encouragement!

How it works:
1. Create a card with art, a quote, or a message of support.
2. Give your card to someone who needs a boost.
3. If you receive a card, enjoy the message and pass it forward.

Let's fill our community with color and connection.
All are welcome!
