🚧 Lower Belding Street Project Update: Temporary Water Shutoff
On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, a new fire hydrant will be installed as part of the Lower Belding Street reconstruction project.
To safely complete this work, water service will be temporarily shut off to several homes in the project area. Water service will be restored as soon as the new hydrant has been installed and the water main has been recharged. Work is anticipated to be completed by the afternoon.

💧 Resident Reminder: Residents in the project area are encouraged to prepare for the temporary interruption by setting aside enough water for drinking, cooking, and other essential needs before the shutoff begins.
Once service is restored, residents may notice some temporary discoloration or air in their water lines. If this occurs, allow cold water to run for a few minutes until it clears.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of residents while this important infrastructure work is completed. If you have any questions, please contact the Claremont Department of Public Works at 603-542-7020.

✂️🏥 Ribbon Cutting: Michael and Sheila Satzow Health Center

The City of Claremont was proud to celebrate the opening of the Michael and Sheila Satzow Health Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony!

This new medical office building represents an exciting investment in the future of healthcare in our community, providing expanded space and services for patients throughout the Claremont area and surrounding region.

We also want to recognize Mike and Sheila Satzow for their extraordinary $1 million leadership gift in support of the project. Their generosity helped make this new facility possible and reflects a tremendous commitment to the health and well-being of our community.
