Clare Parks and Recreation

Clare Parks and Recreation The Recreation Department is committed to offering quality programs to all residents of the City.

The Recreation Department was established in 2005 after the creation of the second Master Parks and Recreation plan for the City of Clare. The mission of the City of Clare Recreation Department is as follows:

“The mission of the City of Clare Recreation Department is to contribute to the positive development and well being of the community through leadership and the provision of parks, trails, and recreational facilities. This will be accomplished through partnership and cooperation with other recreation service providers in the community in order to maximize all available resources. The driving focus of Parks and Recreation is to encourage health, fitness, cultural, recreational, educational, and social opportunities in our community.”

The Recreation Department is responsible for creating and implementing recreation programs and services to meet identified needs of groups within the city of Clare and for coordinating city efforts with sports and recreation partner organizations that are providing recreation services for the community.

ATTENTION CLARE YOUTH SOCCER FAMILIES

After looking at multiple forecasts for today and reassessing this morning, we are moving forward with our soccer games today. Although every single forecast has a different outlook, the one that I utilize the most and usually seems the most accurate shows that there will be a light rain from 7-8:06 a.m. So, Clare Youth Soccer families dress for the weather and if you need to warm up remember the concession stand will have coffee and hot chocolate!

Thank you,

-Joy
