Clare-Gladwin CTE CTE offers Career & Technical training to high school juniors and seniors from Clare, Gladwin, Farwell, Harrison and Beaverton.

• A generation ago, we knew it as vocational education or skilled trades training
• Finances and logistics have removed most local schools’ ability to offer it; CTE fills that void

Meet Our New CTE Social Media Assistants!

Clare-Gladwin CTE is excited to introduce Isabelle Langley and Maddison Fritz, seniors from Clare High School, as our new Social Media Assistants!

Throughout the school year, Isabelle and Maddison will help manage Clare-Gladwin CTE’s social media platforms by scheduling posts, creating original content and attending CTE events to capture and share highlights.

At Clare-Gladwin CTE, hands-on learning goes beyond the classroom. This opportunity will give Isabelle and Maddison practical, real-world experience while building their skills in communication, content creation and social media management.

We’re excited to have them on board and look forward to seeing CTE through their perspective!

Exploring Agriculture at PROJECT RED!
Nearly 300 fifth graders visited the Magnus Center Campus on Tuesday, September 22, for Clare County Farm Bureau’s Project RED (Rural Education Day), hosted by Clare-Gladwin Career & Technical Education.

Students explored 13 hands-on stations covering everything from livestock, dairy and honey bees to maple syrup, apple c***r, wildlife, crops and farm safety. Along the way, they learned how agriculture connects to the food we eat, the products we use and the world around us.

A big thank you to the local producers, organizations and volunteers who shared their knowledge and gave students the opportunity to experience agriculture up close!
