The Stone Soup Project A project to create a much needed soup kitchen in Clare County, MI Our business philosophy is to create an atmosphere that is safe and nurturing.

Many people who live in poverty have lives of chaos, loneliness, anxiety and fear. It is our hope to give the patrons of the Stone Soup Project a place to go for a meal and fellowship. We plan on doing this by making an effort to befriend people, by eating with them, by praying together before the meal and by creating an atmosphere that is peaceful. We want to create an environment that resembles

a café rather than a cafeteria. We will also have resource information/persons available to connect the patrons to programs or services that could be of use to them. These services could be medical referrals, counseling, job training, transportation services, etc.

We are open every Tuesday and Thursday! Stop by for a nice meal.

Stone Soup will be serving take away meals at our location in Farewell, 101 Michigan Ave (The Farwell Senior/Community Center) until further notice.

We will distribute meals at the front entrance of the center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-1:00pm. There have been no changes to day or time. Guests need not enter the building, we will deliver meals to your vehicle.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We apologize that there will not be the usual fellowship and social time, however this keeps all of our friends healthy. We look forward to seeing you all in person again in the weeks to come!
