Last night we trained with Vehicle Response Training. They specialize in all things electric vehicles and battery systems. We were made aware of many dangers that EVs can pose when they are involved in traffic accidents. As well as how to deal with a car fire incident as they are much different than a typical vehicle.
They were very knowledgeable and we learned a lot!
We were joined by a few from Maynard Fire Relief and Raymond Fire Department.

Santa will be taking a quick ride through town on a fire truck today! He will be leaving the fire hall at 5:00 pm sharp! He will travel the route shown below and will get to the MACCRAY high school at 5:15 pm.
Be ready to wave to him!

This week we trained on grain bin entrapments.
Safety and Security Consultation Specialists, LLC. provided us with great information on how to handle these types of situations. We were also able to create a mock entrapment with the trailer they provided.
We were joined by Maynard Fire Relief, Raymond Fire Department, and Chippewa County MN Sheriff's Office
