It has been reported that the Turkey has been found but has not turned it in to the finance department . The individual that supposedly located the Turkey had every right and opportunity as mainly everyone else. She is not employed with the city nor affiliated with the city and there was no inside information as only two people knew the location. The one who hid it and the police chief so please stop with the conspiracy theories and look forward to the Easter hunt. Thanks for participating.

Greetings my fellow CLAIRTONIANS!!! ARE YOU READY? The City of Clairton will be hosting another FUNtastic City-Wide event! "THERE'S A JIVE TURKEY ON THE LOOSE IN CLAIRTON!!!"

During this time of uncertainty due to our government shutdown, we've decided to brighten someone's day by giving them a chance to WIN $500.00!!! This event is for ADULTS ONLY and leads up to the Thanksgiving Holiday Season!

When: The HUNT begins on Tuesday, October 28, 2025! (The WINNER will be announced across City Hall's electronic billboard and on our various social media platforms.)

Here are the rules:

•Must be a resident of Clairton
•Must be 18 years of age or older
•CANNOT be a family member or connected to any City Officials or Workers!
•A clue will be posted on the City of Clairton Recreational and Events FB page every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday leading up to Monday, November 24, 2025. (Please make sure you LIKE/FOLLOW this page so you don’t miss any clues.)
•IF YOU FIND "THE JIVE TURKEY," YOU MUST TAKE IT TO CITY HALL/CLAIRTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING TO BE DEEMED THE WINNER AND TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE!!!

It’s that time of the year so let’s go have some family fun. Contact me Eric Hatchett on this page, messenger, or 412-807-8204 to enter your family for a chance to go to the Pirates game. Drawing will be held Thursday 7/17 at 7:00p and winners will be contacted after that. Only 28 tickets available, good luck.
