Pay attention to unfamiliar vehicles, suspicious persons, or anyone approaching children under unusual circumstances. Talk with your children about stranger safety and remind them to immediately get to a trusted adult if something does not feel right.

If you see suspicious activity involving a child, do not wait — call 911 immediately.

Our children belong to this community, and keeping them safe takes all of us.

Stay alert. Speak up. Look out for one another. Protect our children.

Heroes Never Alone will be at the Stars Over Clairton Festival tomorrow, July 12, collecting donations for deployment care packages that will be sent to active-duty military members stationed overseas.

Tomorrow is the final day to donate, so anyone still wishing to contribute is encouraged to bring any of the following items to the festival:

⭐ Gummies or theater-box candy—no chocolate, please
⭐ Individually packaged cookies, crackers, or sunflower seeds
⭐ Coffee or drink-mix packets
⭐ Protein bars or granola bars
⭐ Beef jerky

Today, we proudly join our community and our nation in celebrating a truly historic milestone — 250 years of American independence.

Since 1776, generations of Americans have served, sacrificed, built, protected, and carried forward the freedoms we are blessed to celebrate today. Independence Day is more than fireworks and gatherings; it is a reminder of unity, courage, service, gratitude, and the responsibility we all share in protecting the freedoms that define our country.

As families, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate, the Clairton Police Department extends our sincere appreciation to our military members, veterans, first responders, public servants, and all those who continue to serve our nation and our communities.
