On the sunny shores of Oahu the Frontier Brigade conducted a combined Change of Command Ceremony for Brigade Commander Colonel Christopher Creaghe and 440th Civil Affairs Battalion Commander Tulsi Gabbard.

The influence these two leaders have had on the Frontier Brigade will be forever etched in our legacy. They each have embodied what it truly means to ‘Be Bold’, have strived to empower each Soldier to ‘Be Brave’, and have guided this Brigade to ‘Be Ambitious’ no matter what obstacles we faced. We wish you nothing but the best as you journey forth to your next Frontier.

The oars have been passed to incoming Brigade Commander Colonel Patrick Carneal and incoming Battalion Commander Travis Cole. Welcome to the Frontier Brigade!🌲

Building smiles, one page at a time📚

Before their departure from Fort Carson, Colorado, the Civil Affairs Team from 440 Civil Affairs Battalion came together to choose a heartwarming gift for the gracious community of Pohnpei, where they would be spending the next few weeks. With care, they selected 25 new books, carrying them along on their journey.

The team was grateful to witness firsthand the joy their books brought as they read stories to a group of local children. Following this event, the books were donated to the Pohnpei Public Library.
