The Willamette Master Chorus takes seriously our commitment to honoring our veterans. For 21 years, our chorus has celebrated their service at our annual Veterans Day Concert.

We are honored to offer free tickets to our upcoming concert to Veterans and Gold Star spouses and parents. Available only by calling our office. To order your tickets call 503.580.0406.

In 2019, our Artistic Director Dr. Paul Klemme was awarded the Oregon Commendation Medal by the Oregon Army National Guard in recognition of the Willamette Master Chorus's proud tradition of saluting veterans.

The VFW Marion Post 661 is proud to announce a recurring wellness initiative, offering FREE Pilates classes exclusively for the veteran community.

Held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM.
Pilates can help improve core strength, enhance flexibility, and bolster both physical and mental well-being and designed to be accessible to all veterans, regardless of age or current physical condition.

This essential service is made possible through the generous support of community partners: we extend heartfelt gratitude to Sovah (Serving Our Veterans At Home) Team Red, White & Blue and the Salem Veterans Center who are kindly covering the instructors' fees and ensuring participation by providing mats and blocks for those without their own equipment.
All Veterans are warmly invited to join this welcoming environment at the Post to foster connection, prioritize their health, and experience the transformative, restorative benefits of consistent movement

When the government shuts down, families keep going. Military families are navigating growing uncertainty, from questions about future pay & allowances to the strain of daily life without clear answers. That’s why MFAN is stepping up to help.

Starting today, military families can visit militarymeals.org to sign up for a free grocery box and Commissary gift card, shipped directly to their home. Each box from Umoja Health is packed with care to feed a family of four for a week.

Active-duty, Guard, and Reserve members can verify their affiliation through SheerID at militarymeals.org.

Once verified, follow the prompts on screen or check your email (and spam folder) for your registration form.

We’re working hard to reach as many families as possible, so please submit only one request per household and share this link with anyone in your network who may need support.
