Sunrise Christian Food Ministry We distribute food to the community M, Tu, Th and Fri 11am-1pm (11am-12pm age 60+)
CLOSED Wednesday This has put more burden on the supporting agencies.

Sunrise Christian Food Ministry started in 1983 to supply emergency food for needy residents of the northeast Sacramento area. Food supplies and financing are provided by 25 supporting churches, service organizations, and many individuals. It is the mission of the Food Ministry to provide five (5) days of nutritionally balanced food supplies every 30 days when an emergency occurs. Residents of Sac

ramento County are served by the Food Ministry. Since the beginning of Sunrise Christian Food Ministry the number of families served has increased seven fold. However, this helps in the demonstration of the Love of Jesus to our fellow man. We ask that you, as a supporter of the Food Ministry, consider extending your giving an extra meal or more to help us fulfill our mission.
