You are invited to attend a transmission lines issue briefing concerning Grid Growth Ventures, LLC. This company is pursuing required permits for a 300-mile transmission line across parts of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.

Dale Arnold, Director of Energy and Local Policies for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation will share what is taking place, and what you as a landowner have a right to do.

We have limited space available, so RSVPs are mandatory. Please contact the county Farm Bureau office (740-474-6284) if you plan to attend. Bring your own chairs to this meeting.

Waste not: Building a business around an under-appreciated resource
It’s not an exaggeration to say that Megan Dresbach has made manure her life’s work.

The Pickaway County businesswoman, known as the Ohio Manure Gal, is co-owner and vice president of W.D. Farms LLC., a Circleville company that collects manure and biosolids to apply to farm fields. Her father, Eric, started the company in 1985, and Megan and her brother have been part of the operation since childhood. Learn more at ofb.ag/wastenot.

There are several issues impacting Fairfield County residents and landowners. From solar and data center plan proposals, and even US EPA Class VI Injection Wells for carbon capturing. We invite you to join us for the Fairfield County Farm Bureau annual meeting on August 12 at 6:00 PM in Ricketts Family Hall on the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Immediately following or business meeting, we will be hosting a members only meeting to learn about these issues. Dale Arnold, Director of Energy Policies with the Ohio Farm Bureau will bring us up to speed on what is happening in Fairfield County. If you are a Farm Bureau member, please plan to join us. If you are not a member, but wish to attend, all you need to do is join. Contact the county Farm Bureau office (740) 474-6284 to learn more.
