Yesterday morning, the Circleville Fire Company responded to a 4 +alarm fire including tanker task force. Because the incident occurred during the daytime, manpower was limited, and we quickly realized we would need a tremendous amount of additional resources.
We received equipment and manpower from firefighters throughout Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties. We also received tremendous support from the Town of Wallkill Police Department, DPW, Ambulance, and Office of Emergency Management, along with the New York State Police, Homeland Security and Orange County Hazmat.
To every department, agency, firefighter, police officer, EMS provider, DPW employee, and emergency responder who came to our aid during our time of need — THANK YOU!
Incidents like this truly show that our community and our society are still great. There is nothing better than seeing people helping people when their neighbors need them most.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who stood beside us yesterday. Please remember that we are always here for you when you need us.
