🐍🦎 Science came to life at CES!

Thanks to a recent grant sponsored by the Circleville City School Foundation, our second-grade students recently experienced an unforgettable hands-on visit from Reptile Adventures! 🌎✨

Students had the opportunity to observe — and even safely interact with — a variety of live reptiles while learning about habitats, behaviors, physical characteristics, and amazing survival adaptations. From curious questions to wide-eyed excitement, the experience turned science into something students could truly see, hear, and experience firsthand. 🐢🐍

Programs like this help bring classroom learning to life by creating meaningful, real-world connections that students will remember long after the school day ends. We are proud to support opportunities that spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and make learning exciting for our students! ❤️💙

Our CES second graders recently had the opportunity to experience TWO incredible art-focused field trips coordinated by CES art teacher Andi Hoskins — and the smiles say it all! 🌟

These experiences give students the chance to see art come alive beyond the classroom walls, inspiring creativity, imagination, and confidence in new ways. From hands-on learning to unforgettable moments, our students are discovering that art is so much more than paint on a page — it’s a way to explore the world around them. 🖼️✨

🐅 Friendly reminder — applications are still open for new members of the Circleville City School Foundation Board! ❤️🖤

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved in supporting Circleville City Schools, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact for students and staff across Tiger Nation.

As a Foundation Board Member, you’ll serve on an active working board that helps fund educational opportunities and initiatives throughout the district — including supporting our annual Raise Your Paw Auction, the Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year.

A few quick details:▪️ 3-year term beginning with the 2026–2027 school year▪️ Monthly evening meetings (with additional involvement leading up to the auction)▪️ Limited openings available

🗓 Applications are due Friday, May 29 at 5:00 PM.

🐾 The Circleville City School Foundation is now accepting applications for new Board Members for terms beginning with the 2026–2027 school year!

Our mission is to enhance educational opportunities for staff and students across Tiger Nation, and we are looking for passionate community members who want to make a meaningful impact in our schools. ❤️🖤

Board Member Expectations:
▪️ 3-year term with an option to renew for a second term
▪️ One in-person evening meeting per month (typically the second Monday); however, there are more frequent meetings close to the auction
▪️ Active participation on a working board
▪️ Support and involvement in our annual Raise Your Paw Auction — the Foundation’s primary fundraising event that makes our initiatives possible

We have a limited number of open positions and encourage individuals who are committed to supporting Circleville City Schools to apply.

🗓 Applications will be accepted through Friday, May 29 at 5:00 PM.

Tonight at Raise Your Paw, honoring Mike Logan, we set out with a bold goal: to beat last year’s record-breaking $50,000.

Because of YOU — our incredible Tiger Community — we didn’t just break it…

🎉 We soared past it, raising over $76,000! 🎉

What an unforgettable night of generosity, pride, and Tiger spirit in support of the staff and students of Circleville City Schools.

And here’s what makes it even more powerful — this school year alone, the Foundation has already given back over $40,000 to support innovative classroom grants, student opportunities, and meaningful initiatives across the district.

Every dollar raised tonight will go right back into our schools next year — supporting our teachers, empowering our students, and strengthening the future of Tiger Nation.
