The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support and promote businesses and organizations in the Anderson Area. Since 1970, the Chamber has been a great way to market your business and organization to the Anderson Area in eastern Hamilton County, serving Anderson Township, Newtown, Mt. Washington and western Clermont County, Ohio. The Anderson Area is 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati a
nd is bordered by the Ohio River to the south, the Little Miami River to the west and north and Clermont County to the east. The Chamber partners with Anderson Township, the Forest Hills School District and the Anderson Park District and the Hamilton County Park District for business and community related activities. The Neighborhood Business District program sponsored and produced by the Chamber also involves partnering with the Anderson Township, Anderson Township Fire & Rescue, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Village of Newtown, Newtown Police Department, Little Miami Fire & Rescue, City of Cincinnati (for Mt. Washington), Cincinnati Fire Department and the Cincinnati Police. Future programs will include partnering with departments of Union and Pierce Townships in Clermont County. The Chamber produces the annual Citizen of the Year Awards Banquet, a Golf Outing, Thanksgiving Breakfast, SummerFest & FallFest at the Anderson Towne Center as well as the annual Holiday Cheers event. The Chamber also partners with the Anderson Park District, Anderson Township Government and Post 318 Legion Hall for the large community event of Greater Anderson Day. The chamber also hosts Breakfast Briefings, a professional development series that covers new Marketing trends, Cyber Security, Human Resources, Healthcare, Insurance, Workers Comp and Education to name a few. Accelerate Anderson is a eight-month course designed to educate, train and encourage Anderson area professionals to take a leadership role in the community. Students will meet each month for sessions covering topics such as Anderson History & Heritage, Health & Wellness, Workforce & Economy, Local Government, Public Safety & Justice, Education, Quality of Life & Entertainment, Personal and Professional Development. Each course instructor will be a local professional representing their area of expertise. The program includes a Welcome Event, (11) Leadership, Professional & Personal Development Sessions, Assessment Series and a year ending Commencement Celebration. The Chamber supports the Partners in Education program of the Forest Hills School District as well as underwrites scholarships for each local high school. Community activities are promoted through our website and weekly emails with information supplied by the organization.
