Theater was a critical feature of social, ethical, and political discourse in the Ancient Agora. As we are writing up Structured Deliberations we completed on Gender Equality I recall the musical production developed by my friend Zareh Artinian. His Theater production, “The Glassblower’s Daughter” engaged audiences in consideration of how values conflicts are critical to a functioning democracy.
