Join us for an engaging 10-week Citizens Police Academy, hosted by the Delhi Township Police Department, running from October 8th, 2026 to December 17th, 2026. Classes will be held every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Program Highlights:

Crime Scene Investigations: Learn the techniques used to process and analyze crime scenes.
Interview and Interrogation: Gain insight into effective questioning methods.
Criminal Law: Understand the fundamentals of the legal system.

Delhi Township PD Introduces Flock Camera Transparency Portal

We are committed to being transparent with our community about how the Delhi Township Police Department uses Flock License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras.

Our Flock Camera Transparency Portal provides residents with information about how the cameras work, how the department uses and retains the data, department statistics, and examples of how this technology has assisted our officers and community.

Simply put, these cameras are tools, not replacements for police officers. Law enforcement has always relied on tools and technology to help officers do their jobs. Our police computer systems, fingerprint and DNA technology, Tasers, less-lethal equipment, and other investigative resources all serve different purposes, but none replace the training, experience, judgment, and hard work of our officers. Flock cameras are no different. They are another resource available to our officers when a crime occurs.

Our LPR cameras are strategically placed throughout the community to help solve and prevent crime, recover stolen vehicles and property, locate missing or endangered individuals, investigate hit-and-run crashes, and locate wanted individuals.

The use of this technology is governed by department policies and established safeguards. The system is audited, and officers are accountable for how they access and use the information. Misuse or unauthorized access can result in departmental discipline and, when appropriate, criminal charges.

We believe our residents deserve to know not only that we use this technology, but how and why we use it. This portal provides that transparency while showing how LPR technology supports our officers' work and helps keep our community safe.

Join the Delhi Township Police Department for “Copsicles” on Saturday, September 12, at 2:30 PM at Delhi Park, 5125 Foley Road, under Shelter 1! Bring the kids and family out to enjoy a refreshing popsicle with our officers while getting to know the men and women who serve our community. This fun, family-friendly event is a great opportunity for kids to interact with police officers in a relaxed setting and help build strong, positive relationships between our officers and the community. BACK TO SCHOOL: LET’S LOOK OUT FOR OUR KIDS

A new school year brings busy mornings, new routines, and children making their way to and from school. As students return to the classroom, we all have a role in keeping them safe.

SLOW DOWN IN SCHOOL ZONES
Obey posted speed limits and stay alert during drop-off and pickup. Watch for children, crossing guards, and pedestrians near crosswalks and school entrances.

KNOW THE SCHOOL BUS RULES
When a school bus has flashing red lights and its stop arm extended, STOP.

In Ohio, on two-lane roads, traffic in both directions must stop. On four- or more-lane roads, only traffic traveling in the same direction as the bus must stop.

Never pass a stopped school bus. A few seconds of patience can protect a child’s life.

STAY ALERT AND DISTRACTION-FREE
Children can be unpredictable. Slow down, watch carefully, and always yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. Put your phone away while driving, especially in school zones.

SPEAK UP AND LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER
If you see unsafe or suspicious activity, report it. If you see bullying or have concerns about a student, tell a trusted adult or school official.

Our students’ well-being matters, too. Take time to check in with the young people in your life. A simple conversation can make a meaningful difference for a student who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or other challenges.

As we begin another school year, let’s slow down, stay aware, speak up, and look out for one another.

Together, we can help make this a safe, positive, and successful school year for every student.

Popsicles, anyone?

Over the past two weekends, officers from the Delhi Township Police Department stopped by swim clubs throughout Delhi Township to hand out popsicles to kids and parents, too!

More than a cool treat on a hot summer day, these visits gave our officers a wonderful opportunity to connect with residents, get to know our community, and build positive relationships with the families they serve.

Positive interactions like these are an important part of community policing. When our officers and residents have opportunities to connect outside of an emergency or enforcement situation, it helps build trust, strengthen relationships, and create a stronger sense of community.

A big thank you to all our residents for welcoming our officers and helping make these visits such a success!

Attempt to Identify-Misuse of Credit/Debit Card

The male pictured below is wanted by the Delhi Township Police Department for misuse of a credit/debit card and receiving stolen property (debit card).

The victim received an alert from her card company that her debit card had been used by an unknown person. She had possession of the card earlier that day and believes it was later lost.

The Delhi Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 19-year-old Sultanna Banks, who was last seen around midnight on August 2, 2026, at her home in Delhi Township.
Her family is concerned for her welfare due to a medical condition requiring medication and ongoing mental health concerns. She is known to frequent the downtown Cincinnati area, including Fountain Square, and Price Hill.

The Delhi Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 19-year-old Sultanna Banks, who was last seen around midnight on August 2, 2026, at her home in Delhi Township.

Foley Road Closure

Beginning today through August 18, 2026, weather permitting, the Hamilton County Engineer's Office has closed Foley Road between Neeb Road and Alomar Drive in Delhi Township to replace a pipe beneath the roadway.

Detour Route:

Neeb Road → Delhi-Anderson Ferry Road → Foley Road
The same route applies in the opposite direction.

Motorists should expect additional travel time and are encouraged to avoid the area whenever possible while this necessary work is underway.
