Event: Pinewood Derby

Pack 281 - Pinewood Derby

Join us for a fun filled, family friendly morning of racing and excitement! Watch your son race his car down the track and cheer on the drivers.

All family members are welcome. There will be food, snacks and beverages available for small cost ($1.50 for meal and $25 for snack). Food will include hot dogs, pizza, and chips. Families are asked to bring a baked good to sell at the snack table (wrap items separately).

Opening ceremony will start at 10:00 AM with races to follow. We will also have a sibling and adult race following the main event. Awards around 12:30 PM followed by the closing ceremony. Families are also asked to stay after to help clean-up.

We look forward to seeing everyone on race day!

Event: Pinewood Derby Car Registration & Weigh-In

When: Jan 20, 2017 6-7pm

Pack 281 - Pinewood Derby Car Registration & Weigh-In

Scouts will need to bring their cars to the Church on Friday evening, the night before the race, to register their car and weigh-in. Cars will be inspected to ensure they meet the requirements for the cars and are at or below the weight limit. Once cars are registered, they will remain at the Church until race time the following day. No additional modifications can be made after that time.

We ask that all families complete their cars and register them on Friday to allow enough time for us to prep for the race the following day. All of the cars will need to be uploaded into the computer and there will not be time on Saturday.

Hello Parents,

Thank you for all the donation sign ups thus far! We're well on our way to making a big difference in a couple families' holiday season!!! I will be collecting items at our meeting tomorrow evening 12/5, and at the latest, our next meeting on 12/12 in order to deliver items to Beech Acres in time for distribution.
Please consider signing up for a donation if you haven't already. If time prohibits you from contributing, monetary donations care welcome and we can shop on your behalf for items unclaimed so far. You can also shop for Beech Acres with 9United at their 8th annual Shop & Share at Target on 12/7 from 3-7 pm (tax free, I believe)!
Thanks for all your support in this endeavor. The boys will be making cards to accompany our donations at our upcoming meetings too!

Join us for holiday fun at the Anderson Towne Center this Saturday from 4pm - 6:30pm!
Events begin at 4pm. Santa arrives at 5pm followed by tree lighting ceremony at 6pm.
Free food, drinks and entertainment will be provided by local businesses.

Where: Avoca Park
When: Nov 13, 2016 3-5pm

Pack Outing - Fall Hike

Join the Pack and explore the outdoors at Avoca Park (access from Little Miami Scenic Trail off Wooster Pike/Rt 50). Great trails and access to Little Miami River.

Meet at the trail head. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for hiking. Bring a water bottle and snack. Scouts should wear Class B uniform (yellow shirts).

REMINDER: PACK MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT, MONDAY, 11/7, AT 6:30PM AT AHUMC

We will be meeting as a Pack on Monday, November 7, at 6:30pm due to the Holidays. Den meetings will be per your Den. Check with your Den leader.

Join us for an evening of celebrating the brave men and women who have served this country. Scouts will engage in various team-building games and activities and learn the importance of working together as a team.

Invite family and friends who have served in the military to attend.

Scouts will be receiving achievements and advancements earned.
