Have you always wanted a professional portrait in a beautiful space?

At our customer appreciation day on Saturday September 12th you can have an individual or family portrait taken for free by a local photographer. Stop by the branch between 2-4 p.m. for portraits, face painting and ice cream.

Ethics and Dragons to return this fall!

We are excited to share that Ethics and Dragons will return to the Clifton Library this fall.

Offered on Mondays from 5-7 p.m. and hosted by UC's Ethics and Dragons club, this two-hour session allows students to play Dungeons and Dragons and to connect with their peers.

Sessions will run September 14th -November 16th and are for teens.

Lesser-known resources: Homework Help

During the school year, K-8 students can get no-cost, walk-in, one-on-one homework help in reading and math at the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library for the 2026-2027 school year.

Although we don't have a tutor at the Clifton Library you can visit the Corryville library just up the street from us from 3-6 p.m., Monday-Thursday to get help.

Lesser-Known Resource: Golden Buckeye Cards

Use the library to complete an application for a Golden Buckeye Card! Golden Buckeye Cards can be used by Ohio residents that are 60+ or residents from 18-59 with a disability for discounts on select businesses and Ohio State Parks. Patrons must bring a state ID and in case of disability, evidence of said disability.* Come to the front desk where staff will help patrons complete and submit the form to the Ohio Department of Aging.

Bring a game of your own or join community members who will be teaching games from their home countries. Board games, card games, or school yard games... all types are welcome! Weather permitting, we will have space to play games both indoors and outside on our front lawn.

Lesser-Known Resource: Educator Cards and Teacher Collections

Did you know educators are entitled to a library card with special borrowing privileges? These cards allow educators to have up to 200 items (except DVDs) checked out, and you can request teacher collections, and qualifying schools can receive your collection delivered right to the school.
