The Ohio SUN Bucks Program is back this summer! This program provides eligible students with a one-time summer benefit of $120 to help families purchase food while school is out.
Students may be automatically enrolled if they already participate in SNAP, OWF, income-eligible Medicaid, or have an approved application for free or reduced-price meals. Families who are automatically enrolled do not need to take any action. Please find more information on the Student Dining Services SUN Bucks webpage about how each student can receive a one-time benefit of $120 this summer.
For students enrolled at Community Eligibility Provision schools who are not automatically enrolled through one of the programs listed above, families may apply for SUN Bucks by completing the online application sebt.ohio.gov.
Participation in the SUN Bucks Program does not affect a child’s or family’s immigration status.
If you are unsure whether your child qualifies, we strongly encourage you to apply.
If in doubt, fill it out!
