We enjoyed our time at Nagel Middle School, presenting at the eighth grade Career and Connections Day. The students were surprised to hear all of the different programs and activities we offer to our members. The students asked thoughtful questions and made motivational posters for our dining room. We wish each student a successful and fun high school experience!

“Tuesdays are slow days. Afternoons aren’t busy.” Not at ATSC!

Yesterday we had 160 members at the center, many staying until after 1:30! Mahjong, quilting, and choir all had great turnout in the afternoon. What fun!

The morning was busy, too! Silver Sneakers fitness, watercolor painting, 500 card game, Better Balance Safer You, and a speaker on heart health were on the schedule.

We can’t wait to see what Wednesday will bring!

We are closed on Memorial Day, but have a full schedule of activities the rest of the week. We have a very important program on congenital heart failure on Monday. We continue our USA 250 theme on Friday with the movie “Victory,” about a group of WWII prisoners who organize a soccer game as a means of escape. This thrilling movie stars Sylvester Stallone and the soccer legend, Pele. We’ll have lunchtime music from Dave Ridenour and Mike Pendell. All this, along with our regularly scheduled activities makes for a busy week! Members can use the link below for dates and times.

Not a member! Want more people and activity in your life? We are the place to be! Stop by the center for a tour or call us at 523-474-3100. We’d love to meet you!

What a party! What a crowd! We celebrated Memorial Day with a cookout, amazing music and a lot of red, white, and blue! One-hundred forty members were on hand for the fun!

The highlight of the day was a combined performance by our ukulele students and our choir. Thank you to Jon Armstrong and Annie Takeuchi for organizing this amazing event. Our choir also sang the songs from each branch of the armed forces and our veterans stood to be recognized.
