AFP Cincinnati AFP Greater Cincinnati Chapter is encouraging and promoting philanthropy in Cincinnati. This page is open to members and non-members.

The chapter's goals are to advance the development profession in the Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky region and to serve as a professional resource. The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the AFP invites all development professionals and community volunteers to become involved with the chapter to support the tradition of advancing philanthropy.

A panel discussion focused on professional development, specifically exploring the transition from a fundraising role, such as Director of Development, into an executive leadership position. This conversation will address key considerations including common challenges, necessary adjustments, and potential pitfalls associated with this career progression. The panel will be led by Jane Page-Steiner and is designed to provide practical insights and real-world perspectives that attendees can apply in their own professional journeys, aligning with the criteria for CFRE continuing education credits.

The AFP Chapter SEEDS Scholarship provides a Small Organization AFP membership. The AFP Greater Cincinnati Chapter is committed to helping small nonprofit organizations get the seed money they need to secure an AFP membership. This seed money is an investment to help small nonprofits build their fundraising toolbox. It’s our desire that these fundraising professionals will become long-term members through the kick start funding of a SEEDS Scholarship.
