September 2026 marks the 32nd anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

Since its passage in 1994, VAWA has represented an important commitment to strengthening protections and expanding resources for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.

This anniversary is a reminder of the progress that has been made and the importance of ensuring survivors have access to safety, support, and resources.
