The community center is rented for today but after 6 pm it will be open and available as a cooling center for the next few days! The city asks that you clean up after yourselves but please take advantage of the air conditioner if needed!

There has been a water main break just outside of town. They are working on getting it fixed and we hope to have your water back on shortly!

The north east part of Cincinnati is without power at this time! The community center will be open if anyone is in need of a warm place to wait out the outage. Stove and microwave available!

City of Cincinnati Trick or Treat will be Tuesday October 31st from 6-8 pm. Make sure you stop by the fire station for a treat and wave to the fire trucks as they drive around town lighting your way!

As many of you already know, I’m moving to another State. I will remain the City’s Mayor until September 30, 2023, at which time I will resign. My term is up this November, so if you are interested in the Mayor position, please pick up the nominating petition at City Hall or at the Auditor’s Office in Centerville.

Mayor Pro Tem Angie Templeton Jones will fill in as Mayor for the remainder of the year.

Thank you for voting me in, and allowing me the opportunity to serve as your Mayor for two terms. It has been an honor to represent the City of Cincinnati. I wish you and the City all the best in the future.

We will be closing the Community Center today at 5pm, as we have it rented for both Saturday and Sunday. We hope it was useful and comfortable to whomever needed it to cool down and relax from this ridiculous heat and humidity. Stay safe & cool 😎

Due to the extreme heat today, and this coming week, we have opened up the Community Center as a cooling station should you need air conditioning relief. We’ll leave the Center open through the week heat. We’ve set the thermostat, so please DO NOT adjust it. There are cold water bottles in the refrigerator for you to enjoy. Please leave the Community Center as you found it. Stay Safe & Cool 😎
