Graduating from high school while in foster care is not easy. You've probably moved schools a few times, losing progress each time. And you're definitely dealing with a lot on top of academics. This year our CASA Volunteers made sure 19 youth crossed the finish line. Great work CASAs and Kiddos! You did it!!

This kid's awesome CASA Volunteer, B (in the stripes), stuck by him for the past 8 years in foster care. Through placements not working out, hopeful homes, and frequent disappointments. At one point she even thought of taking him home herself - he was just such a great kiddo. But she knew his forever family was out there, and she just needed to stand by him. And now he's been adopted! Thank you for years of dedication, B- we are so excited for this young man!!

Brady Grimm, ITC board officer and grant coordinator, joined Sarah Breedlove, director of ProKids, this week at the Friends of Children Breakfast, where community leaders and families shared heartfelt stories about the impact we can make together for foster children in our community.

Insuring the Children is proud to stand alongside ProKids in their mission to support children and families, and we’re inspired by the difference a committed community can make.
