🎓✨ Last week, our incredible 8th graders OFFICIALLY graduated! ✨🎓

And whew… their futures are so bright they’re practically blinding us! ☀️💫

This class showed what determination, resilience, and heart really looks like. They kept their stride ALL year long and never faltered until they crossed that finish line. Now they are heading off to some amazing high schools including - Purcell Marion, DePaul Cristo Rey, SCPA, Withrow and Taft. We know they are going to continue doing BIG things! 🚀

There truly was not a dry eye in the house during the ceremony. From adorable baby pictures 😭📸, to our heartfelt “Lifetime Achievement” awards honoring students who have been with us since kindergarten 🏆, to the inspiring words spoken by our valedictorian and salutatorian — every moment reminded us just how special this class is.

Did you know? Students who successfully transition from middle school to high school and stay engaged in academics and activities are significantly more likely to graduate high school, attend college or career programs, and become leaders in their communities. This class is already on the path to greatness! 💙

A HUGE shoutout to our families, teachers, staff, admin team, and most importantly — our students. Thank you for the love, support, encouragement, and countless memories along the way.

8th grade may be over, but this is only the beginning. 💫 Onward and upward, Class of 2030! We are SO proud of you! 🎓❤️

💙👯‍♀️ Big Sisters, Big Impact at Alliance Academy! 👯‍♀️💙

All year long, our girls in grades 2–5 have been part of something truly special—our Big Sister Program in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters! 🌟

Through this amazing one-to-one mentoring program, our “Little Sisters” are paired with strong, caring high school Big Sisters from St. Ursula who provide guidance, friendship, and positive role modeling every step of the way 💕

And the best part? Some of these matches have lasted multiple years, allowing our girls to truly grow together, build trust, and create lasting bonds 💛

From storytelling 📖, art projects 🎨, games 🎲, dancing 💃, and lots of laughter, these sessions are filled with joy, encouragement, and connection. These girls are lifting each other up and learning what it means to support one another along the way 💪✨

Programs like this are so important—especially for young urban girls—because they help build:
🌟 Confidence and self-esteem
🌟 Positive decision-making skills
🌟 Strong relationships and communication
🌟 A sense of belonging and empowerment

We are so proud to offer this opportunity at Alliance Academy! Between our Big Sister Program, Lunch Buddies, and Big Brothers mentoring for our male Knights, our students are surrounded by support, encouragement, and people who truly care 💙🧡

🎓💙🧡 A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT AT ALLIANCE ACADEMY! 🧡💙🎓

Today was nothing short of AMAZING as we celebrated our Kindergarteners in the most special way! 🥹✨

At the beginning of the year, each of our Kindergarten students was paired with an 8th grade buddy—and from day one, those 8th graders stepped up as leaders, role models, and encouragers 💪💛 They helped our youngest Knights learn the ropes, feel confident, and grow all year long.

And today… it all came FULL CIRCLE. 💫

As both grades prepare to move on to their next chapters, they took one final walk hand in hand down the halls together 👫 The entire school lined the hallways on every floor, clapping, cheering, and celebrating them every step of the way! 👏🎉

Talk about a moment you’ll never forget… the smiles, the pride, the love—it was EVERYTHING! 💙

We are beyond proud of all the growth, achievements, and memories made this year. Our students have truly shined, and this was the perfect way to celebrate just how far they’ve come! 🌟

🐣🌾 Our 5th Grade Farmers Are Back At It Again! 🌾🐣

With it being our last week of school, our faithful 5th grade farmers are finishing strong! 💪

Earlier this year, baby chicks came to us here at school where students helped raise and care for them. Now, they’ve made their way back home to the farm—and our students got the chance to go visit them at Tikkun Farm! 🐓🚜

Students were able to see how much their chicks have grown, pet them, and even help feed and care for a variety of other farm animals. They truly got the full farm experience! 🐐🐑

It was such a special moment for our students to reconnect with the animals they helped raise and meet some new farm friends too! 💛

🍉💥 7th Grade Science in ACTION! 💥🍉

Ms. Anderson took learning to the next level by showing our students what pressure and force look like in REAL TIME—and let’s just say… it ended with a BANG! 😲🙌

As rubber bands were added one by one, the pressure kept building… the tighter the watermelon got, the more force was applied… until 💥 BOOM! 💥

Not only was it exciting (and a little messy 😄), but it helped students truly understand how pressure builds and how force impacts objects—concepts they’ll see in real life from engineering and construction to weather patterns and even the human body! 🌎🔧

Hands-on learning like this helps our students connect science to the real world, think critically, and stay curious about how things work. And today, curiosity was definitely POPPING! 🍉💡

Let’s hear it for one of our absolute BEST—Mr. Newbold! 👏💙🧡

For the past 9 years, Mr. Newbold has been a dedicated part of the Alliance Academy family, serving as an incredible Intervention Specialist who truly goes above and beyond for our students every single day. His commitment to helping students succeed isn’t just part of the job—it’s who he is. 💯

Mr. Newbold brings patience, knowledge, and heart into everything he does, making a lasting impact on the students he works with. He genuinely cares about their growth and works hard to make sure each student reaches their full potential. 📚✨

And when the school day ends… 🎤🎶
He transforms into a whole vibe! Known as the “Aging Teen Idol,” Mr. Newbold is a recording artist who loves to rock out on the weekends and share his musical talents! Talk about range! 🔥

When he’s not supporting students or making music, you can find him enjoying scuba diving, video games, Saturday adventures, and exploring marine aquariums 🌊🎮🐠—or spending time with his family and pets.

🎢☀️ What a DAY to remember!!

Our middle school Knights had an absolute blast on their well-earned trip to Kings Island! 🙌 They earned every second of this fun through their hard work, great attendance, and positive behavior during state testing—and it showed! 💪📚

From the highest highs on the rides to the laughs, smiles, and unforgettable moments in between… this is a trip they’ll be talking about for YEARS to come! 😄🎉

We are so proud of our students and love seeing those bright, shining smiles! Way to go, Knights!! 💙🧡

🌸 4th Grade Fun: “Flowers with My Favorite!” 🌸

Ms. Green's 4th graders had the BEST afternoon Friday celebrating the special people in their lives at our “Flowers with My Favorite” event! 💐

Students invited their moms or that special female family member (we love ALL our favorites! 💕) to join them for a memorable time together. They created beautiful paper flowers 🌼, shared special school memories, and proudly showed off their hard work from the classroom.

To top it all off, each student wrote a heartfelt note and turned it into a keychain—a keepsake their favorite person can hold onto forever. 🥹💖Top that off with a sweet treat and it was a day full of smiles, love, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to everyone who came out to make it so special! 🌷
