In 2016 I stepped up to run for Prosecutor in Hamilton County.

The motto I chose: SEEK JUSTICE, LOVE MERCY, WALK HUMBLY (Micah 6:8) wasn’t “hard enough” for the critics.
But it’s the motto I’ve lived my whole life by.
Before I ever thought about running for office. It’s who I am and always will be.

Back then, I had like 3 people who believed in me.
Pictured here are two of those three: Earmon Powell wearing my campaign shirt and Greg Landsman who unbeknownst to me already had this tattooed on his arm.

I am now in my third judicial campaign and the man, the motto and the mission is the same!

Lincoln Ware from the Buzz will be live broadcasting at the event and we expect to have at least 40 exhibitors from local state, federal and nonprofit organizations that serve our community. Last year I hosted Expungement Day in my room. One of the participants showed up today with flowers to show her appreciation for my help.
She is hopeful about better employment opportunities.
This kind gesture is a beautiful reminder of why I wear the robe.
