The Cicero Volunteer Fire Department was formed in the spring of 1883 by several residents of the Town of Cicero who recognized the need for a fire department to provide fire and medical coverage to those within or passing through the town. Pickup, (1) Heavy Rescue, (3) Engines, (1) Ladder Truck and (4) Chiefs Vehicles. The department has 70+ members, and answers on average of 900+ fire / ems alar

ms each year. In 2020 we are celebrating 137 years of service to the residents of the Town of the Cicero.

Today we take a trip back in time with this great photo of TP-6 that proudly served the Cicero Fire Department and Town of Cicero, NY for several years.

This classic Ford / American LaFrance tanker was a familiar sight throughout our community, responding alongside firefighters whenever duty called. While apparatus and technology have changed over the years, the dedication, commitment, and volunteer spirit of the members who served aboard this truck remain the foundation of our department today.

Photos like this serve as a reminder of the rich history of the Cicero Fire Department and the generations of members who helped build the organization into what it is today.

The Cicero Fire Department June raffle is currently active with the warmer weather upon us and here’s a great opportunity to win this Yeti bundle.

As previously discussed, in order to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the New York State Gaming Commission, any person wishing to purchase tickets for these and all future raffles must complete a “one” time secure registration process.

Once you register, you will receive a reply email at the address you provided. That email will contain a temporary password and prompt you to create your own secure password.

After logging in:

• Select the RAFFLE drop-down menu
• Choose the corresponding month (example: MARCH)

We understand this registration process may take a few minutes to complete. However, once registered, you will not need to do so again for future raffles conducted by the department.

On behalf of the Cicero Fire Department, our goal is to strictly adhere to and exceed the standards established by the New York State Gaming Commission to protect both our supporters and the department.
