🤿 DIVE TRAINING 🤿

Noblesville Dive Team invited White River to a dive training.

White River Township does not have a dive team but work with Noblesville Fire and dive team on an incidents.

Crews from White River learned how to assist dive team when call to an incident.

White River would like to thank Noblesville Fire Department for the training.

Thanks to 3D printing, we were able to make ourselves a training prop to simulate a (thankfully) rarely used skill. A Cricothyrotomy is the process of creating an airway by cutting the cricothyroid membrane, located just below your “Adams Apple”. After incision, a tube is passed through securing a passage for air. It’s an extremely critical skill and is only used for immediate life threats that can’t otherwise be solved with other airways. Our prop simulates the cartilage, with the skin and other tissue being imitated by bandage and silk tape.

The Townships Trustees across Hamilton County are accepting donations of cleaning supplies, clothing, blankets, and toiletries for victims of the recent flooding. White River Township Fire Station is accepting these items at Station 331. There is a drop off box by the front door.
