Today, the Onondaga Fire Chiefs Association would like to recognize and thank all fathers for the guidance, strength, and dedication they provide to their families and communities each and every day.

We extend a special thank you to the fathers serving throughout the fire service, EMS, law enforcement, emergency communications, and all first responder organizations. Your commitment to protecting others, while also being a role model at home, does not go unnoticed.

Whether you are responding to emergencies, volunteering in your community, or simply being there for your loved ones, your leadership and sacrifice make a lasting impact.

⚾️ Who's Ready for Some Baseball ⚾️

The Onondaga County Fire Coalition which consists of the County Fire Chiefs Association , Onondaga County Volunteer Firefighters Association, Onondaga County Volunteer Fire Police Association and Central Region Fire Districts Association have partner with ESIP - Emergency Services Insurance Program and Fire District Mutual of NY Insurance Company for an afternoon of fun with the Syracuse Mets for First Responder Appreciation Day at NBT Bank Stadium.

As a result of the above associations and emergency service partners sponsoring this event, here are the details:

- Tailgate -

As we did last year, the Onondaga County Fire Coalition, ESIP and Fire Districts Mutual of NY Insurance Company will be sponsoring a pre and post game tailgate party in the parking lot.

Food and drinks will be provided starting at 11:00 am and this will allow everyone the opportunity to get together to network, play a few games or to relax.

- Seating -

This years seating will be in Section 217 & 218 which is on the third base line, next to the berm area which will allow the kids attending to play in that area and be close enough to everyone.

- Ticket Cost -

The cost of tickets this year are $35.00 which will include the following items:

• Ticket
• Parking
• Tailgate
• Tee Shirt

The Onondaga County Fire Coalition and Believe 31 would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Pat, Tony, and Nicole from ESIP - Emergency Services Insurance Program McNeil & Company / Penflex for their generous sponsorship and support of this outstanding event.

With more than 100 attendees throughout the evening, the First Responder Hospitality Networking Gathering provided a tremendous opportunity for members of the fire and EMS community to meet new friends, reconnect with longtime colleagues, share ideas, and strengthen relationships with the many associations represented.

There are still openings available to participate in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb & Walk being held during the NYSAFC FIRE 2026 Conference & Expo.

Join firefighters, EMS personnel, family members, and community supporters as we come together to honor and remember the 343 FDNY firefighters, along with all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Whether you choose to complete the stair climb or participate in the memorial walk, this event is a powerful way to pay tribute to our fallen heroes and ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.
