It's Spay Neuter Awareness Month! If your pet hasn't been spayed or neutered, please consider doing so...for the sake of hundreds of homeless pets out there!

Mayor Mary Casillas Salas of Chula Vista presented the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility (CVACF) with a spay/neuter awareness proclamation and recognizes HEART's contributions! We're so proud to have accomplished so much – and we thank our supporters for helping to make it all happen.

In celebration of World Spay/Neuter Day, HEART of Chula Vista sponsored a mega cat Spay Day at the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility on Feb 24. The Spay Shuttle worked together with Spay Neuter Action Project (SNAP) to Spay and neuter 48 local cats, preventing the birth of hundreds of unwanted kittens! Job well done team!
