Great work by our officers led to the arrest of a felony suspect connected to several cases. 👏

After locating a wanted vehicle using Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) technology, officers took the driver into custody after he failed to stop and crashed.

Officers also recovered methamphetamine and merchandise believed to have been purchased with stolen credit cards. Using ALPR technology, investigators connected the suspect to three local theft-from-vehicle cases involving three credit cards that were later used fraudulently.

Those local cases are in addition to other crimes the suspect is now being held accountable for outside Chula Vista.

Technology, teamwork, and strong police work making a difference! 👏🏼
