My wife and I took time out of campaigning to spend it with amazing Chula Vista Elementary friends! It is inspiring, validating and edifying to hang out with people of such high caliber of ethics and decency! Great party Jeff!!

The first time I ran and won a seat on CVESD's Board of Education, I did it on my own through the support of friends, family, and my wife. I developed a strong relationship with the teachers' union president and vice president UNTIL they asked me to eliminate Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) programs to save money for salary raises. I stood strong in support of students and teachers. When teachers are asked to support the current Board, ask whether they will stand for all teachers, including VAPA teachers when the going gets tough. I will.

There is NOTHING more important for parents and families than the safety of our children. There have been at least 68 shootings or attempts to shoot at schools since 2000. The most recent being in Uvalde where 19 students and 2 teachers lost their lives.
