πŸš’πŸ”₯ Fire Safety Day at Homeschool Co-op πŸ”₯πŸš’

Today our member Wade had the privilege of spending time with the homeschool co-op at Lighthouse Assembly of God for an exciting and educational Fire Safety Day!

Students learned important fire prevention tips, home escape planning, and what firefighters do during emergencies. He also had the opportunity to show off the fire apparatus, equipment, and answer lots of great questions from the kids.

A big thank you to the staff, parents, and students for welcoming us and helping make fire safety education a priority in our community. Teaching children how to stay safe can make all the difference.

Remember:
βœ… Test smoke alarms monthly
βœ… Practice your home escape plan
βœ… Know two ways out of every room
βœ… Call 911 in an emergency

We appreciate the opportunity to serve and educate the next generation! πŸš’πŸ‘¨β€πŸš’πŸ‘©β€πŸš’

We are proud to announce that Newmansville Volunteer Fire Department has received a grant to purchase new SCBA cylinders, replacing units that were nearing their out-of-date service life. The safety of our firefighters and the community we serve is always a top priority, and this upgrade ensures our members continue to have reliable equipment on every call.

We would like to extend a special thank you to On the Mark Scuba owner Richard Markland for his assistance with the replacement SCBA cylinders and continued support of the fire service.

A huge thank you also goes to Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department for filling the SCBA cylinders using their cascade system, helping us get the new equipment ready for service quickly and efficiently.

We also appreciate Zeke Pierce for volunteering hours to assist with removing the old SCBA cylinders and helping make this transition smooth.

Most importantly, thank you to all the members of Newmansville Volunteer Fire Department for the countless hours of hard work and dedication put into securing this grant, removing the old equipment, getting the new cylinders filled, and placing everything back into service. Your commitment and teamwork continue to make our department stronger and better prepared to serve our community.

Finally, we want to thank our community for all the love and support you continue to show our department. Your encouragement, generosity, and trust mean more than words can express, and we are honored to serve each and every one of you.

Thank you everyone for your continued support of the fire service.
