Just a reminder that City Offices will be closed today September 7, 2026 in observance of Labor Day. City Offices will reopen on Tuesday September 8, 2026 at 7:30am. Sanitation will run as normal. Please remember to always have your garbage and recycle can out by 7:00 AM.

With the cost of housing on everyone's mind. Mayor Burch, Mayor Dahlquist, Representative Bingham, and the Portneuf Valley Home Builders Association wants to invite the community to attend a discussion, and open community conversation on housing, and growth in Southeastern Idaho. Gem State Housing Alliance is hosting the conversation in partnership with the Pocatello/Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, September 9 from 2-3:30pm at the Portneuf Health Trust City Center Campus.
