ATTENTION NORTH BANNOCK FIRE DISTRICT RESIDENTS:

A burn ban order will be in place starting June 1, 2026. We encourage you to finish any open burns before this date. If they are not completed before then, you will have to wait to burn until the ban order is lifted.

While the ban is in place, you may still conduct burns so long as they are contained within a fire ring or pit, for cooking, warming, and ceremonial purposes so long as the fire is no larger than 3 feet across and the flames are no taller than 2 feet.

North Bannock Fire District
Sub-district 2 Commissioner Opening


North Bannock Fire District (NBFD) has an opening for Sub-district 2 Commissioner. Term of office is 4 years, and applicants must have been a resident of NBFD Sub-district 2 for at least one year. Map of the District is available at www.northbannockfire.us

Commissioners are responsible for the operation and management of the District, including finances, personnel, and property.

Applicants may express interest in the position by submitting a letter of interest to NBFD, 444 E. Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID 83202 or to [email protected] Letters of interest should include brief pertinent experience and knowledge, and must be submitted by March 1, 2026. Letters will be considered at the regularly schedule NBFD Commissioners Meeting on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
