Our district continues to celebrate the high achievement of our students and staff!

Lucero Pena-Sanchez, Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation (MOT) Dispatcher, recently completed her course work and exams to become a State-Certified Bus Driver Instructor! The certification course covers 44 subject areas, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of classroom and behind-the-wheel techniques.

Lucero is someone who puts a high value on personal growth and adding value to our MOT Department. Lucero is also a Chowchilla Union High School graduate, Class of 2016!

Chowchilla Union High School District has a BIG accomplishment to announce! Our Food Services Director, Odili Barrios, has received the 2026 California Food for California Kids Innovation Award. This award is a biannual award that recognizes California school nutrition leaders for their creativity and initiative in transforming food from farms into school nutrition programs. Odili's collaboration and utilization of vegetables from the CUHS Ag Farm speaks volumes on her dedication to our district and the Chowchilla community. Providing our students with fresh and highly nutritional food is Odili's top priority!
