Coach Phelan is a consistent, dependable, & hard-working educator, who is always putting others first - especially his students.
Mrs. Shepperd is committed, caring, and not only a great co-worker, but also a wonderful advocate for our students.

Wildcat Aviation Assignment: Students have been hired by NASA to deliver a payload to space!

Using materials provided, students use engineering practices they learned in class to build a rocket to deliver a payload.

Students use rocket balloons to create thrust. Using a fishing line attached to the ceiling and a straw to steer, they created their rockets and attach a payload container (paper cup or plastic sandwich bag) to deliver a payload (paperclips) to space.

Through trial and error, more teams have successfully delivered their payloads. Every team is learning teamwork, engineering practices, and physics concepts to make this work. Their critical thinking skills are hard at work! Way to go, Wildcats!

Juniors & seniors took a trip to RSU today for a college fair that featured 40+ colleges. They were able to obtain valuable information and check out future opportunities. 🐾

Mrs. Gwartney has 16 years of education experience & 8 of those are as a school counselor. We are excited to have Mrs. Gwartney join our team, and look forward to all the positive ways she will help our Wildcats achieve excellence!

Yearbooks are in! They will be ready for distribution on Monday, August 17. If you ordered a yearbook and have paid, your yearbook will be available at your building. All graduates can pick them up at the high school office.
