United Way of Northeastern Minnesota The United Way of Northeastern Minnesota is a non-profit organization serving Northern St. Our work today goes far beyond raising and distributing money.

UWNEMN and our partners are here to help all people thrive across the Iron Range, Koochiching County, and Lake of the Woods County thanks to the support of local donors and volunteers. Louis County, Koochiching County, Lake of the Woods County, and parts of Itasca County, encompassing thirty-five communities. More than 40 years ago concerned and passionate citizens helped to create the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota to help people in need and make our community a better place for everyone. We are seen as change agents who bring together experts from all across the community including government, business, faith groups, labor, nonprofits and ordinary citizens to create long lasting change.

's Born Learning Trail in Chisholm was sponsored by Chisholm Community Foundation, Chisholm Kiwanis Club, Chisholm Lions Club, and Park State Bank and installed by the City of Chisholm along with sponsors and student council members who united on June's Day of Action to paint stencils accompanying the signs - including Chisholm Bluestreaks!
