Survivors: What do you with others knew or understood about domestic violence? End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin wants to hear from you!

End Abuse is inviting survivors to share what they want people to understand about domestic violence, safety, healing, support, and the systems and communities around them. Have you ever wanted to share what helped or hurt in your healing journey? This is the place to do so!

It can be difficult to talk with your child's school about policies to ensure boundaries and appropriate behaviors are being practiced and enforced.
You don't have to start from scratch - Darkness to Light created letter templates to help you learn more about your child's school's policies and advocate for their safety as a team.

Congratulations to Adam S. and Nancy F., our August raffle prize winners! Our friends at 4:30am on the Go will be BACK at River Source Family Center and Family Support Center next Tuesday, September 1st, from 6:30am - 1pm!

Stop by for coffee, tea, breakfast, or lunch and support families and survivors of violence in the Chippewa Valley!

The Family Support Center office will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th, for an internal staffing day, and will reopen Wednesday, August 26th, at 8:30am.

Thank you for inviting Family Support Center to participate in this essential discussion!

Before anyone decides what a community needs, they have to ask the community.

This morning, we brought together professionals from across Eau Claire County to talk about overdose prevention.

Their perspectives built on recent conversations we’ve held with other people with lived experience, including those who are currently incarcerated.

Our job in work like this is not to walk into the room with the answer already written.

It is to ask better questions, listen carefully, notice where perspectives overlap, and carry what we learn back to the people making decisions.

There is a lot of expertise in professional titles and positions.

There is also a lot of expertise in what people experience every day.

Good planning needs both.💚
