🌿 September Garden Hour: Take a Moment to Pause 🌿

Join us for a free Garden Hour at the Chippewa Falls Community Garden on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Take a guided mindfulness walk through the garden and enjoy simple breathing and sensory activities that help you slow down and connect with nature. Participants of all ages can also create sun prints using flowers and leaves.

This event is free and open to everyone. We hope you'll join us for a relaxing morning outdoors!

Not a farmer? No problem! Everyone is welcome to attend. Come learn more about the trials or simply discover what the Demonstration Farm is all about.

🌾🚶‍♀️ Prairie Walk at Lake Wissota State Park 🌼🌿

Join Extension Horticulture Educator Margaret Murphy and Master Naturalist Sue Crisp for a guided prairie walk on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 AM at Lake Wissota State Park (18127 Co Hwy O, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).

📍 Meet at Prairie Trail

Enjoy an easy 0.5-mile walk through an established prairie and discover tall grasses, colorful wildflowers, and other native plants. In September, some prairie grasses can grow as tall as six feet! 🌾

👟 The walk is leisurely and suitable for those who would like to learn more about Wisconsin prairies while enjoying the outdoors.

🚗 A vehicle admission pass is required to enter the park. We hope to see you there! 🌞🌻
