🚒 🚒 Orange Hill Fire Department is aware there is a large controlled burn taking place in the area of Clayton Road & Orange Hill Road.

Residents may see and smell smoke for several days. This is a planned and monitored operation to help reduce wildfire risk.

Please do not call 911 unless you see an uncontrolled fire or emergency. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 🚒 🚒

Orange Hill Road is currently closed in the area of 1400 Orange Hill Road (north of Corbin Road/South of the overpass)

Multiple crews are on scene of a single vehicle accident in the area of 1400 Orange Hill Road that has caused wide spread power outage.

🚧🚧 As we are assessing our area we have found a lot of washouts on our dirt roads some are VERY BAD. All roads are open and passable but please slow down and use caution. 🚧🚧

🚨We are continuing to closely monitor the weather and are ready to respond. Much of our district has received over 8” in rain 🌧️ in the last 12 hours affecting many of our roads. Please stay off the roads and remain alert. We have already had one really close tornado, please pay attention to warnings and take shelter.

🚒 Washington County Fire Services has increased staff on duty and 🚑 Washington County EMS has placed a crew at the OHFD for increased responses.

Yesterday, following an excellent training session with Washington County EMS and other Washington County Fire Departments, OHFD took proactive steps to prepare for the anticipated weather conditions.
