🚒 For Chino Valley Fire, it’s business as usual when it comes to our emergency response and services. The upcoming change involves ambulance transport services transitioning from AMR to CONFIRE.

➕ Chino Valley Fire will actually enhance the emergency response system by providing surge ambulances during major disasters, large-scale incidents, or significant increases in 911 calls. This added capacity will help us better serve our communities when demand is at its highest and our communities need us most.

Chino Valley Fire will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 11 at 9:00 AM at Fire Station 66, located at 13707 Peyton Drive, Chino Hills.
The ceremony will honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and recognize the bravery and sacrifice of the first responders who served that day.

At our monthly Chino Valley Fire District Board of Directors meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing some outstanding members of our fire family and honoring important community traditions.

We recognized September 11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance, honoring those who lost their lives and those who continue to serve and protect our communities.

🔥 Fire Prevention Week was officially proclaimed, with Fire Marshal O’Toole and members of our Community Risk Reduction team accepting the proclamation. Their ongoing work helps educate and empower our community to prevent fires and stay safe.

👋 We are excited to welcome our newest team member, Office Technician Justeen Montoya. Welcome, Justeen!

👏 We are proud to recognize the following team members for their incredible commitment and years of service:

Office Technician Christine Buneguen — 10 years
Engineer Travis Flicker — 30 years
Captain Jeff Lopez — 30 years
Battalion Chief Dean Smith — 30 years

Thirty years of service represents an extraordinary commitment to our community, and we are grateful for the knowledge, leadership, and dedication each of these members has given throughout their careers.
